-
Male and female pattern baldness, resulting in bald areas.
-
Receding hairline.
-
Alopecia.
-
Surgery or trauma scars in the scalp area.
-
Thinning hair.
-
Hair transplant-related scarring.
-
Menopausal hair loss.
These are just a few of the reasons why your hair (or lack of hair) may be making you feel self-conscious.
Hair loss can be attributed to a variety of factors, (e.g. medical, genetic, hormonal), and it's always worth seeing an appropriate healthcare professional if you are worried about the cause.
The impact of losing some or all of your hair can be profound, affecting self-esteem and confidence. You might think that people perceive you in a certain way because of your hair loss but you feel you have no control to change things. If you put weight on, you can go on a diet. If you don't like your clothes, you can buy new ones. There is no cure for baldness, but you can disguise or hide it. There is no shame in wanting to look and feel good.
I'm here to empower you and help you take back control!
Using Scalp Micropigmentation (also known as SMP or scalp tattoo) I can help restore the appearance of fuller, thicker hair, or restore your receded hairline and give you your confidence back.
What sets me apart is my commitment to using the latest innovative pigments, meticulously developed and tested for natural-looking, long-lasting results. Unlike many scalp artists using diluted carbon black ink, I tailor the pigment combination to your specific skin tone, undertone, and hair colour, ensuring incredible results without any unwanted colours or discolouration
What is SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a specialised form of tattooing whereby small dots of pigment are placed in the the scalp to replicate the look of hair follicles. Treatment is carried out across multiple sessions (typically 3 or 4) spaced appropriately apart to allow for proper healing.
It is a non-surgical, highly effective, long-lasting hair loss solution suitable for men & women, with no down-time and immediately visible results.
If you are struggling to come to terms with the effects of male pattern baldness and your slowly departing hairline, SMP can make a real difference, giving you a youthful "buzz-cut" effect.
SMP isn't just for men either.
Women also struggle with hair loss - female pattern baldness, forms of alopecia, the dreaded menopause, PCOS - just a few of the reasons women's' hair may fall out or become thin and less dense. By carefully placing dots amongst the remaining hair, your scalp will be less visible and your remaining hair will appear much thicker and fuller.
How Much Does SMP Cost?
SMP treatment prices vary from £300 up to £2,500 and are calculated based on the area to be treated as determined by the Norwood Scale (for men) and the Ludwig Scale (for women).
You can find my pricing guide here, but please do bear in mind this is just that - a guide!
If you would like an estimate specific to your requirements, please send me clear photographs of the area(s) you would like treated.
Your treatment will be spread across multiple sessions to ensure a blended and natural-looking end result. The time of each session will vary depending on the size of the area to be treated, ranging from about an hour for a small area requiring densification, to several hours for a full head treatment.
I will discuss a treatment plan and confirm a price with you at your consultation.
Why not book a complimentary consultation so that I can chat with you about what your concerns are and what you would hope to achieve if you were to go ahead with treatment? I can talk you through what is involved and what to expect, and answer any questions you may have. We can either chat via video or telephone call, or you can come in to the clinic. All conversations are completely confidential.
